Asian Pork

Ingredients
- 1 kg Pork loin Boneless
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 125 ml Honey
- 125 ml Soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic Minced
- 2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 3 tablespoons Sweet Chilli Sauce Optional
For thickening
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons Water
Instructions
- Season the pork loin with salt & pepper
- Mix together the honey, orange juice & zest, sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger & pepper flakes
- Set your pressure cooker to saute, heat olive oil until shimmering, brown your pork loin on all sides
- Once you've browned your pork, pour the sauce over & cancel saute mode
- Put the lid on, pressure cook for 30 mins, high pressure, 10 min natural release
- Check the temperature of the centre of your pork, it should be at least 63C, if not, put the lid back on and cook for 5 more minutes on high pressure
- Once temperature has been reached, remove the pork and set aside to rest
- Strain the sauce and seperate the fat
- Mix your corn flour and water
- Turn saute mode back on, put the juices back in and use the cornflour to thicken the sauce as it heats
- Once the sauce has thickened, slice your pork & pour the sauce over
- Serve (Goes well with fried rice)
