Sloppy BBQ Pork Sarnie

Ingredients

  • 600 g Pork Mince
  • 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 200 ml Pork Stock
  • 1 small Onion Diced
  • 1 Pepper Diced
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 3 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Molasses
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 100 ml Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcester Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Hot Sauce
  • 200 g Cheddar Cheese Grated
  • 4 large Bread baps Or rolls
  • 2 tsp Garlic & Ginger mix
  • 2 tsp Corn Flour
  • 30 ml Water To mix with Corn flour

Instructions

  • Mix paprika, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper & oregano.
  • Add spice mix to pork stock, along with honey, molasses, Worcester sauce & apple cider vinegar.
  • Set pressure cooker to Saute & once hot throw in your pork mince.
  • Saute until cooked through, drain any fat/oil and set aside in a bowl.
  • Return the pressure cooker to the heat, add onions, peppers & garlic/ginger mix. Saute until fragrant.
  • Add pork mince back to the pressure cooker, add in your stock mix, chopped tomato & tomato paste. Mix well.
  • Pressure cook, high pressure for 15 mins. Quick release.
  • Remove lid, put into saute mode. Add cornflour & water mix to thicken (If needed).
  • Spoon onto rolls, top with cheese and place under broiler until cheese melts. Serve.
