Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken Breast
- 30 g Onion Diced
- 1 tsp Butter To fry onions in
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper Ground
- 2 tsp Coriander Dried
- 2 tsp Cumin Ground
- 1.5 tsp Paprika Ground
- 0.5 tsp Cardamon Ground
- 0.25 tsp Nutmeg Ground
- 0.5 tsp Cayenne Pepper Ground
- 1 tbsp Ginger Minced
- 20 g Tomato Paste
- 200 ml Double Cream
Instructions
- Heat your pan, medium heat and add your butter.
- Once melted add diced onion.
- Cook onions until translucent and just starting to brown.
- Add cayenne, coriander, paprika, cardamon, nutmeg and cumin, stir constantly for about 2 mins to allow the spices to toast.
- Add chicken, salt & black pepper.
- Cook chicken through over medium heat.
- Add your ginger, tomato paste and cream, stir well.
- Bring to a simmer and turn heat to low, stir occasionally.
- Once sauce has thickened to your liking, season with salt & pepper.
- Serve with rice of your choosing.

Step 1 says to add butter, but there’s none in the ingredients.
Fixed now, it’s just to fry the onions in so doesn’t need much 🙂
