Keto Mongolian Beef

Ingredients

  • 3/4 tsp Xanthan gum
  • 70 ml Olive oil
  • 700 g Broccoli florets
  • 1 kg Beef Thin strips
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 3 Cloves of garlic Minced
  • 3 tsp Ginger paste
  • 125 ml Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Erythritol brown sugar
  • 3 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 5 Spring onions
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Dissolve xanthan gum in 2 tsp olive oil, set aside.
  • Steam broccoli until crisp-tender, set aside.
  • Season steak with salt and pepper.
  • Heat 1/4 cup olive in a large skillet over medium-high heat until pan is hot.
  • Cook beef until brown, ~2 mins per side, set aside.
  • Saute garlic until fragrant ~1-2 mins.
  • Add garlic paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and xanthan gum mixture, stir until sauce starts to thicken.
  • Remove pan from heat
  • Add beef (With juices), broccoli, scallions and sesame seeds.
  • Stir until combined.
  • Serve.
